Polls: Trump's Trust Gap on Policy "Unprecedented in the 21st Century"

Quick: On which of these issues do the American people trust Donald Trump more than Hillary Clinton:

Answer: It was a trick question. The correct answer, according to the Huffington Post (Pollster), is “none of them.”

HuffPost looked at “trust” questions from all publicly available polls between July and August that met the criteria for HuffPost Pollster. . . .

Trump’s deficiencies are unprecedented in the 21st century, according to polling data collected by the same method over the course of the past four general elections.

In the last two non-incumbent races, 2000 and 2008, the candidates were about evenly split in the number of issues on which they were the most trusted. This time around, although the trust gap on “Economy” is quite narrow (0.6%), it — like the other five — still favors Clinton.

In other words, the result of over a year of campaigning by Donald Trump is that he hasn’t convinced the country that there’s even one thing of significance that he can do better than Hillary.

For further elaboration, I turn to Irving Berlin and Jerome Kern. The first video seemed too closely on point to pass up. The second is the classic version (from the 1950 movie Annie Get Your Gun). And the third is proof that anything we older generations could do, kids these days can do better.
